​Amy Bisset, Founder and Director of Bisset Study Abroad, is a bilingual (English/Korean) education professional with over 10 years of experience in higher education administration, international programs, and student success support. Based in Raleigh, North Carolina, Amy is dedicated to helping students and families confidently navigate every step of the study abroad journey.

Educational Background

A graduate of NC State University (Summa Cum Laude) with a B.A. in Leadership in the Public Sector, Amy has a strong foundation in educational leadership, policy, and cross-cultural communication. Currently, she is pursuing her Master’s in Learning Design & Technology at NC State University, focusing on AI-enhanced learning systems, instructional design, and digital transformation in education.

Completed undergraduate studies at NC State University with high distinction, gaining a strong foundation in organizational leadership, public policy, and cross-cultural communication.

Amy continuously expands her professional knowledge in artificial intelligence, instructional design, and educational technology to provide students and families with cutting-edge, personalized support that reflects today’s digital learning landscape.

제 아이가 대학입시를 준비했을 때를 다시 돌아보며 정리한 <미국대학 지원 가이드북>입니다. 제가 자녀교육 과정 중에 가장 고민했고, 열심히 수집했던 모든 정보를 정리했습니다. 지금은 대학생이 된 아이를 보며 뿌듯하지만, 돌아보면 '그때 더 잘 준비할 수 있었는데~' 했던 반성까지 담았습니다. 마지막으로 2025년 현재 공개되어 있는 미국 대학입시 정보도 반영했습니다.

미국에서 내 아이 잘 키우기

『미국에서 내 아이 잘 키우기』 출간 프로젝트입니다. 이 프로젝트는 낯선 땅에서 두 아이를 키우며 겪은 여성 이민자의 현실과 배움을 기록한 이야기입니다. 22년 동안 함께 울고 웃으며 마주한 문화의 차이, 학교와 지역사회에서의 시행착오, 그리고 그 속에서 단단히 다져진 성장의 순간들을 담았습니다. 아이를 키운다는 것은 결국 엄마 자신이 다시 배우고 성장하는 길임을 보여주고자 합니다. 비슷한 길을 걷고 있는 부모님들께 “당신의 고민은 혼자가 아닙니다”라는 조용한 위로와 용기를 전하고자 합니다.
